Hi! I'm Swarnava.

I'm a speaker & writer who grew up with a stammer, and now helps the world understand why every voice deserves its full time.

Everyone has the right to be heard.

Fluency is not a qualification A pause is not an absence Every voice gets its full time
My story

My voice was never broken. It was just waiting.

I'm Swarnava, from Kolkata, and I grew up with a stammer. For years my words arrived late, and the world rarely waited.

Today I speak about it on TEDx stages, write about it on Medium, and stand with others who stammer, so that nobody has to feel unheard. The law is built on speech; I care about what happens when the words take longer to arrive.

How to listen well

Three small courtesies, for a hearing, an interview, or a cup of tea.

01 Wait. Silence is not an invitation to fill it. The sentence is still on its way.
02 Don’t finish the sentence. Even when you think you know the word. It’s theirs to say.
03 Listen with your eyes. Steady eye contact and patience say more than “take your time” ever could.
